Emergency Tree Removal in Bethlehem
Bethlehem's mix of mature street trees, steep terrain near the South Mountain area, and dense residential neighborhoods creates real vulnerability during major storms. Nor'easters, summer microbursts, and heavy ice events regularly bring down large limbs and entire trees onto rooftops, parked cars, and power lines. Our emergency line is answered 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, no voicemail, no waiting until morning. We respond quickly, assess the situation honestly, and get the job done safely and completely.

Tree Removal in Bethlehem's Historic Neighborhoods
Bethlehem's South Side, Northside, and West Side neighborhoods are defined by their mature tree canopy: towering silver maples, white oaks, and Norway maples that have grown alongside the city's historic homes for generations. Removing a large tree in a tight urban lot, close to a row home, a shared fence line, or an overhead utility line, requires the kind of precision and experience that only comes from doing this work every day. Our team is trained in advanced rigging techniques and sectional removal, and we protect your property, your neighbors' property, and everything in between.
Hazardous Tree Removal Near Bethlehem's Steel District
The neighborhoods surrounding the former Bethlehem Steel site, including the South Side, include many older properties with large, aging trees that have never received professional attention. Trees that have grown unchecked for decades can develop structural problems that aren't visible to the untrained eye: root rot, internal decay, co-dominant stems with weak unions, and fungal infection. If you have a large tree near your home that concerns you, call us for a free hazardous tree assessment. We'll give you an honest recommendation with no pressure and no upselling.

Tree Removal Cost in Bethlehem
Tree removal cost in Bethlehem varies based on the size of the tree, its location on your property, and the complexity of the job. Working in tight lots near historic homes on the South Side is a different challenge than removing a tree on a larger North Side or West Side property, and our pricing reflects the actual work involved, not a one-size-fits-all formula.
We provide free, no-obligation on-site estimates with fully transparent pricing. Projects over $2,000 qualify for our $200 same-day signup discount, and our Flexible Scheduling Discount can save you up to $300 when your timeline allows us to schedule at our convenience.

Tree Removal Across Bethlehem's Older Neighborhoods
Bethlehem splits into two very different jobs depending on which side of the Lehigh you are on. In the historic blocks off Main and Broad Street the lots are tight, the houses are close, and there is frequently nowhere to put a tree once it comes down. Those removals are rigging jobs. We take the tree apart from the top, lower each piece under control, and keep the street clear while we work.
On the south side, up the hills below Lehigh University, the grade is the complication. Getting equipment onto a sloped property takes planning, and we would rather spend the time working that out than tear up somebody's yard getting to the tree.
Along the Monocacy Creek and near Sand Island the ground holds water, and trees in saturated soil come over more easily than the crown would suggest. Those are worth having looked at before a storm rather than after.
Bethlehem covers 18015 on the south side and 18017 and 18018 north of the river. We work all three.

Anthony did a great job removing bushes and trees along my fence line in Allentown, Pennsylvania. He was quick, prompt, and cleaned up nicely after himself. Will definitely use him again. Prices are more than fair.
I first used Eco about a year ago when a limb fell at the end of the driveway after a severe storm. While walking around the neighborhood, I saw Eco was doing a job and asked if they could take a look at mine.
Anthony was great to work with. We used ECO to cut back extremely unruly arborvitae. They scheduled and performed the work quickly and exactly how I wanted it done.
Tree Removal Questions from Bethlehem Homeowners
How much does tree removal cost in Bethlehem?
It comes down to the size and health of the tree, how easily we can reach it, and what is around it. We are based right here at 1620 Jeter Avenue, so we can come look at the job in person and give you a clear, itemized quote with no guesswork and no surprises.
Can you remove a large tree between two homes on the South Side or Northside?
Yes. Bethlehem's older neighborhoods have big trees packed into tight lots and close to historic homes. We use rigging to take those trees down in sections and lower the pieces carefully, so nothing lands where it shouldn't.
Do you handle emergency tree removal in Bethlehem?
Yes. When a storm drops a tree on a roof, driveway, or across a Bethlehem street, call 484-695-4222 and we will get to you as fast as we safely can.
Are you licensed and insured?
Yes. We are fully insured and hold Pennsylvania Home Improvement Contractor License #098771, so your property is protected on every job.
Will you clean up and haul everything away?
Yes. We remove the wood and debris and leave your property clean. If you want the stump gone too, we can grind it as part of the job or schedule it separately.
My property is on one of the South Side hills. Does the slope change the job?
It changes how we get to the tree more than it changes the tree. A bucket truck has to be set up level on ground that will carry it with the outriggers down, and a steep bank or the edge of a retaining wall does not qualify. On a sloped Bethlehem property we work out the approach before we quote, and where the truck cannot be set safely we climb the tree and rig it out instead. Either way you get told which method the job needs and why.
